Chalet Bougainvillea - At The Heart of Nature

Welcome everyone to Hotel Les Gites De Kribi! Described as "a little paradise in Kribi", Les Gites de Kribi is situated 1 km away from city center and 5 minutes away from Lobe Waterfalls by car . Split in two parts the hotel and restaurant “Le Plaisir du Gout” sit in front of the beach.

STYLE

Les Gites de Kribi strays away from the traditional by the beach hotel design to give it’s clients a place where they can truly relax and unwind. Most rooms have living rooms, fully equipped kitchens in case you don't want to eat at the restaurant, bring food from elsewhere and you want to heat it up in the microwave. The only exception would be the rooms for two that are designed to be more intimate, equipped with a TV and a mini fridge. The experience people have is more comfort-oriented, welcoming you to your second home.

OUR ROOM - CHALET BOUGAINVILLEA

Named after the beautiful plant we see in every Greek vacation picture, Chalet Bougainvillea is one of the three chalets available at Les Gites de Kribi. It unfortunately doesn't have the beautiful flowers (or plant) but it has another beauty in stock. Located in the middle of the other two chalets in the nature section, Bougainvillea offers an outdoor kitchen and dining room on the veranda. There is also a living room with TV, and three rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. It’s important to note that the bathrooms are medium size and much bigger than the one’s at Chalet Manuela.

The chalet’s veranda offers a view of the river, where clients can go on a kayaking tour with the hotel’s guide. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped with pans, pots, and gas in case clients need to fix themselves a snack or a meal.

FEATURES

Les Gites de Kribi has a variety of activities available for clients to spend time. You can choose to cool down in the swimming pool, enjoy the heat of their jacuzzi, get a massage at the spa or spend your time at the beach and read a good book in their libraries in their lounge areas.

THINGS TO KNOW

There are no taxis in the city, instead the method of public transportation are motorcycles. Understandably so if you’re not a fan of this method, it is possible to rent a driver with whom you’ll set an appointment to drive you wherever you may need to go.

The soothing sounds of the birds going about their business truly gives you the sensation of relaxation.
