For our first time in Toronto we spent a few days at the Westin. Luckily for us we checked into the hotel on my mother's birthday, and as a result our rooms were changed to ones with a beautiful view of the lake and free wifi! Perfect for our first time in Toronto. During our short stay we visited family friends who happily played the role of our tour guides. We visited practically all the iconic places in Toronto. Towering above the city from the CN Tower, passing by the ROM, touring the UofT (University of Toronto) campus, exploring Toronto's mini "Times Square", and walking on the longest street in the world, Younge Street. Although very exciting by the end of the day we were exhausted. The next day we settled for a more relaxing day. We walked around in a nearby, and watched the 1st of July fireworks not once but twice at the CN Tower and later at the lake. Toronto is a beautiful city bustling with life and fun activities, for locals and tourists.
